We’re proud to announce that Mid South Extrusion has been awarded the 2025 TH Scott Award of Excellence, the highest honor given at the annual TH Scott Award of Excellence Ceremony in Ouachita Parish.

This prestigious award recognizes outstanding businesses that drive economic growth, innovation, and community investment throughout the region. Out of 48 recognized organizations, MSE was selected for our long-standing commitment to local job creation, cutting-edge manufacturing innovation, and economic impact.

Receiving the TH Scott Award comes at a pivotal moment of growth and investment for MSE. We’re moving forward with a $12.5 million expansion project that will introduce two cutting-edge polyethylene extrusion lines to our Monroe-based Jackson Street facility—further strengthening our production capabilities. This marks our second large-scale expansion in less than a year. Back in September 2024, we unveiled a $17 million investment to install two similar lines, underscoring our commitment to staying ahead of increasing demand for high-performance, flexible packaging films.
