Does MSE offer health and retirement benefits for all employees?
Yes! Mid South Extrusion is proud to provide health insurance, life insurance, longterm and short term disability at no cost to our employees. We also offer a 401k match for retirement.
Are there opportunities to advance my career at Mid South Extrusion?
Absolutely. At MSE we believe that our employees are truly our greatest asset as a company. Our promotion scheme is based purely on performance, effort, and willingness to learn – not seniority.
How old must an employee be to work at Mid South Extrusion?
MSE Employees must be at least eighteen years of age.
What type of shifts are employees required to work?
All employees are required to work both day and night shifts that rotate every four weeks. This arrangement allows our employees to have a great deal of time off, and still be able to get overtime hours as they wish.
Does MSE drug test employees?
Yes. As employee safety is our number one priority, we require that all employees take and pass a pre-employment drug test.
How much education is required to work at MSE?
We require all of our employees to have their high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Is prior knowledge of the business required?
Not at all! As a matter of fact, some of our longest tenured employees began at entry level positions with no knowledge of the film and packaging industry.
